Thats a good point Chuck. The LifeFlow Editor (the backoffice for this blogging engine) does the same thing (well, for some errors, it tries to handle and report about other errors... hrm) and pops open a temporary div with the error window loaded into it. It's usually terrifying when it pops up because it is extremely red and rather large, but the messages can be helpful nonetheless.
